Ecological and Ethical trading

We take into account both the nature of the materials used and the production methods that may be employed during the manufacture of the Yoga equipment that we promote on our website.

We are aware that operations should minimise the possible impact on the environment.

We do various things to support our aims:-

• Purchase all our electricity from a renewable source
• Reduce or Recycle all waste
• Re-use packaging
• Avoid environmentally un-friendly materials
• Run our websites on 100% Solar Power

We also try to raise awareness of these issues from time to time so that our suppliers and consumers can get involved as much as possible.

Ethical statement

Our ethical policy means that our suppliers have to deal with us in an open, fair, courteous and helpful way; Harmful substances and practices must be avoided and our suppliers must offer good conditions for all the people who are involved in the manufacture and distruibution of the goods.

Our promotion of fair trade means that we have to be patient with the performance of our suppliers, especially in places like Northern India - which are often not as good as the commercial, factories in Asia that are often onstream round the clock. For example, dyes are sometimes still hand made !!
