Handmade by the Timalabagar village co-op in the foothills of the Himalayas. The fabric has a lovely, soft but hard-wearing rustic feel - excellent !
The Timalabagar village co-op is in Uttar Pradesh district (N. India). It is a society of weavers producing blankets and carpets.
Direct from the primary producers. Workers are paid a fair price, above the national average, and men and women are paid the same rate. All use azo-free dyes for a safer working environment.

Neat and Elegant Ceramic Neti pots
Recommendations: Mix a measure of finely ground, Pure salt
(no additives)
in the neti pot with warm water until the salt is completely dissolved.
Turn your head to one side over a sink, keep the forehead at about the same height as the chin.
Gently insert the spout into the upper nostril to seal it.
Raise the neti pot until the water flows out the lower nostril.
Repeat on the other side.

Note: Due to its natural state, the ground particles tend to stick together during storage. This is normal as there are no additives to keep the salt free flowing. You may need to carefully loosen a dose with a hard utensil or probe before mixing. We recommend using a teaspoon handle with a scraping action to re-grind the salt.
Pure salt is also normally available from most health stores. Do not use normal table salt as it is likely to have chemicals in it (e.g. anti-caking agents) which are likely to irritate the sinuses.. If in doubt, check the label or ask a pharmacist
